- Instruction:
1) Make sure both cars are not touching and ignition switches are turned off.
2) Connect on end of the cable with the red clamp to the POS [+] post of the good battery and the other red clamp to the POS of the dead battery.
3)Connect the black clamp of the cable to the NEG.[-] post of the good battery and the other black clamp to the frame bumper or engine block of the car with the dead battery. (Do not connect directly to the NEG. post of the dead battery). Make sure clamps from one cable do not accidentally touch the clamps of the other cable.
4) After the engine of the car with the dead battery is running, disconnect the cable clamps in the reverse order of (2) & (3).
